Day 8... Terrific Treats Thursday Challenge

Guess what?... It's Thursday and that means Challenge day!!! Today's challenge is TREATS! I know that if you have children in school they are already talking about the class parties that they are going to have. Well my 5th grade son is and of course this is against school policy so everything has to be packaged to send home. So I decided that I would decorate these little paperbags and fill them with candy and treats to send home with the kids. They are also great for party favors if you are having a party on Halloween.

Since today is Thursday, we have coordinated our projects and offer you a themed challenge. Our projects today are based around treats, and your challenge is to share your own treat based project by linking it to a comment at the end of this post! Easy peasy...

I used a mini Frankenstein, a BOO stamp and a mini Monster stamp from JRL Designs. The Happy Halloween stamp is from the $1 spot. I stamped the images with Stazon ink onto the bag and also on white cardstock. I then colored the images on the cardstock with Prismacolor pencils. The Happy Halloween image is filled in with orange and purple stickles. The black ribbon and the black hemp twine are from SU. The Eeek ribbon is from Michael's. These bags were made to be ripped open, although there may be a couple of kids who acutaly want to save the decorations, but I am not sure about that. Now thats 1 down and 29 to go!!!!!

Now that you have seen my project go on over and check out Terra's!

If you'd like to participate in the challenge, link to your finished treat project in a comment below this post. And don't forget, any comment will get you Blog Candy points! See you tomorrow!

What a cute and thoughtful treat bag you have made. Like you said these will probably be torn open, yet you went far beyond what had to be done. Such a dedicated mom and creative artist.

What a cute idea. I'll probably try these for Christmas as my daughters school doesn't do Halloween. Mind you I'm not sure if sweets are allowed at all?
