Bombshell Hump day Hop

Hello Lovelies, today is the day for the hump day hop!  The theme this month is 3 Cheers for Summer and that meant that we had to use 3 of something on our project.  Guess what I did... I forgot to go back in and sign up in the forum like a silly person but the wonderful Ms. Alison, our hump day hop hottie, has kindly added me to the end of the blog roll!!! Thank you so much Alison!

Some of you are going to wonder why I chose the images I did when it's summer but hopefully my explination will clear it all up!!

Every year I am involved in dominoe ornament swaps mostly for Christmas but this year I am thinking of a Halloween dominoe swap as well.  Or something of the sorts.  So I decided to make prototypes for my dominoes.  I hope you like them and I will post information on the ornament swap as soon as I have them for those who might be interested!

So as you can see I used 3 different images on each of my dominoes.  Sorry the last one is blurred I thought it was just me....but I guess it's not! I am not throught with them...there will be varnish added but I didn't want to do that until I was sure these were going to make it through....If I don't varnish them I can reuse them....:))  Opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Here is the bombshell hop list and make sure you start at the begining!!

Bombshell Pin up challenge

Can you believe it's been so long since I posted?  Schools out and the kiddies are getting most of my attnetion as it should be.  There have been dr appointments, movies, and small trips here and there.  I am sorry it has been so long and I would like to promise that it won't be long again but I can't as my kidlings will have all of my attention this summer.... that is not to say that I will not create, actually I have several projects underway right now, it's just gonna be slow going for a while.... thankfully they are teens and sleep in most days!!!

It's time for this months Pin Up challenge! You can find out more information about this challenge on the Bombshell Blog...Don't forget about the prizes that can be won if you participate in our monthly challenges.  There are several to choose from so if this one is not your cuppa then we have others that may be!!!  Although why wouldn't they all be your cuppa!?!?!?!

I have had this made for a while, since she posted it for the dt actually.  I have been following this blog called The Kathryn Wheel(button on my sidebar) and they have a monthly calendar page going.  Now I didn't find the group until it was already underway but I figured hey I could do it on my own so I started with June.  I quite like the way my calendar turned out if I do say so myself.

This is a 12 x 18 page that I am going to bind into a book that will hold all of my calendars!  I used A Pirates Life and Butterfly Queen on this page.  You can find both of those sets along with several others on Bombshell Stamps!

Here are some closeups of the calendar and the images....

see I am actually using it as a calendar... I thought it would be interesting to be able to look back at what I was doing years from now....IDK maybe not but that is my goal.... To complete a monthly calendar for as many months as I can!!!

Forever Night Challenge #39

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you another FNC…. This week our sponsor is Limited Run Digi and the challenge is Anything Goes.  That’s right ANYTHING GOES!!!!  So I chose this cute little lady holding her birthday cake and I colored it with my new Spectrum Noir markers, the turquoise family, which I love!!!  I still love my copics but hey these were on sale at AC Moore and I scored a 6 pack for the price of one Copic so you bet your sweet ass I picked up every color pack they had….10 in all!!!  Just sayin!

Anyway so our challenge was Anything goes and I just had to play with my new markers so let me know what you think…
