Journal for Gutter Girlz Challenge(prompt#29)

It's that time again. Time for the Gutter Girlz Challenge, which of course I look forward to every month. This month the Prompt is I'm not ur Bitch..Bitch, The song is U and Ur HAND by Pink, and the product/technique is Lipstick. When the challenge was issued i immediately thought about doing this journal for my daughter, and then the more I thought about it the cooler it got in my head. So I went for it. I found these journals at Michale's a few months ago in the clearance isle for 49cents so I picked up a few. My friend Terra gave this tutorial over on the Bombshell forum for making decorative paper with paint so I ran with that idea also. The stamp I used on the paper is from SU from their Just Jawing set. I thought about the song and remembered a part of it that I believe every parent would like for their daughter to have enough self confidence in themselves to be able to say to a boy when they venture out on their own,(of course according to my hubby my daughter has to be married before she can date! LOL), so I put those verses of the song on the inside cover for her to remember.

I think everyone at some point in their lives needs something or someone they can vent to. I also know that there will be times when you need to write everything down before you can talk about it, therefore the journal for my daughter. So here is the Journal. I would love to know what you think.

Heatfelt Scrapbook Page!!! (Gutter Girla prompt #28)

I made this scrapbook page for a challenge. The challenge was issued from Gutter Girlz(prompt #28) the first step was to use the words "Eat Me", the song inspiration was 32 Flavors by Ani Difranco, and the technique was to use nutrition or food labels. It is most definitely from the heart and not meant to offend anyone. It reflects things that have gone on in my life before I became the person I am today. I really enjoyed making it and with every stroke of the brush and every run of the glue gun I felt more and more relieved!!!
