Hello Lovelies, and welcome to this month member hop!!! This month we set the challenge to use metal in or on your projects and brads and eyelets did not count!!!! I am very excited to see what others have come up with! Today I have for you a chipboard bird! I love chipboard and especially love it when I am altering it for a fat book swap!!! This is just the beginning for this bird, he has more fluff coming, but I wanted to show off his metal glory before I covered some of it up!!!
See his little flappy wing!!! That is from the Quoth the Raven set from Smeared Ink!
The paper he is lying on is just a little sneaky peaky at what the other side is going to be decorated like!!!!
Hopefully I will remember to post the completed project when it is done, before I send it away!!!
So hop on over to my other Smeared and Smudgers blogs to see what they have created with metal!!!
Kelli (That's me)
Ingredients: Metal/Foil tape
Tim Holtz embossing folder
Versa Fine ink
disterss ink, black soot, pumice stone
PWA microbeads
Stampset Quoth the Raven Smeared Ink

I love this Kelli! I'd never have thought to emboss the foil tape like that. Cool hinged wing on your little birdie. Hope you get a pic of the finished page before you swap it out.
omg, I am so impressed with the way this group thinks, it is sooo out of the box. what a lovely technique, I just love the bird. he reminds me of the song, the bird is the word, lol, they cyborg word.
Super cool, love the idea of the hinged wing (might have to borrow that one) And the first couple times I came to look at the bird I didn't even notice that awesome paper in the back... way cool. Can't wait to see the birdy all fluffed up :)
