Bombshell Hump Day Hop

Hello Lovelies, today is the day... The one we wait all month for! The Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop!!! Here is what our lovely Ms. Alison had to say about this months hop:

Greetings, Bombshell Fans! It's time to announce the November Hump Day Hop! Since many of us are getting ready to think about cooking for Thanksgiving, I thought it would be fun to have a recipe challenge! Ingredients: 3 Patterned Papers 2 Bombshell Stamps images 1 Piece of Ribbon

I used 3 Pattern papers from the Holly Jolly Christmas collection from Echo Park Paper Co. Love that set! My 2 stamps were from the bombshell stamp sets A Pirates Life and from the Gingerbread Pin-Up digi set.  My ribbon is some I found in my stash while I was in that portion of my month long purge and says Happy Holidays on it...I really don't know where I got it from sorry!

Now having missed the sketch challenge on it's scheduled date for personal reasons I have done my card following the sketch Kathi made this month!

Remember that if you started here to head over to the Bombshell blog to start at the beginning and to leave love for everyone for your chance to win some awesome prizes!!!

Day 19 of 31

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you a place card holder for the dinner we are going to have with a few friends....  We have this surplus of hugmongus paperclips for some reason and I thought I need to use them for something other than holding the pages of my art journal down!! So this is what you get when you put a domino and a huge paperclip together with some ribbon.....

The handles are not tied together so that it will still open!!

This is that bat from the Martha Stewart collection this year...

Beyond the Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #6

Hello Lovelies, I know it's been a while and I am sorry about that!  Today I have for you a new Beyone the Burtonesque Dolls challenge:

Challenge #6 Repo the Genetic Opera Vs The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Two truly off the wall, rock operas, both great fun, and very different.
All you have to do for this challenge is create a project inspired by one or both of these films.

There is some major inspiration on the Burtonesque Dolls Challenge Blog so you should head over there, but first you should see mine!

Here is my card:

See, now that just makes you want to go and make something, even if you don't know anything about either of these movies, all you have to do is google them and the movies posters alone offer up so much inspiration, it's hard to know where to begin and most def. hard to stop!!!!

Ok Off you go to see what the other dolls have made for you!!!

On th e11th day of Christmas

I present to you....A ribbon wreath that I made...

So your saying ok Kelli, you made a ribbon wreath, wooo hooo.  What the heck does that have to do with anything.   Well you should all know me well enough to know that I stamp on my ribbon!  So that is what I did.  Now this is short as I am already posting late, and for that I am sorry.  I totally thought today was a smeared ink day and as you know I already have my project for that, so I was working on my Tellen's place hop piece.  Well when I realized that it wasn't a SI day, I started freaking out that I wasn't going to have a project to show, then remembered that this little piece has been sitting on my mantle since the weekend after Thanksgiving!!!  Yep Imma Dork!

Ok here goes...

Enjoy and remember to head on over to the sidebar to see what the other Jolly bloggers have done for today!!!  Thanks for looking

Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop

Hello my lovelies the time has come for the Smeared and Smudged Member blog hop for June!  I am so excited about this as I got to use my new set Killer Bo Peep for my project!  Unfortunatly there is only one picture as the camera died before I could get more snapped!!!! ERGG.

Anyway this months theme was open, meaning we could do whatever we wanted to do as long as there was a stamped image somewhere on the project.  I chose to make another tag using my new Killer Bo Peep set!  She is so freaking awesome it isn't even funny!  Check her out over at Smeared Ink

I used a lightweight chipboard along with decorative paper and paint to create my background.  I then used my copics to color Peep and her counterparts in some freaky cool bright colors. Stampin Up cardstock and some fuzzy ribbon round out my lists of ingredients used to make this guy!  I don't know if I love her hair the most or those little mushrooms but whatever it turns out to be I am in love with this set!  Here is my tag...
Now go on over and check out the other Smeard and Smudged Bolg hop participants:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe it, HALLOWEEN is here! I am so excited. I can't believe this is my last project...it's exciting and sad at the same time, :) :(.
I hope you all have enjoyed this Halloween showcase that Terra and I have put on for you this month. We have had so much fun doing it! I also want to thank all of the DT members and Shannon for letting me participate in there weekly blog hop Wednesday! I had so much fun!

Today I am continuing and concluding my projects made from RAKs and Swaps from Terra, Kas, and Rosie. I made a decoration to put on my table outside, while I am handing out candy, that I could surround with candles and lights! I have had this wooden cube for several years so when I got the swap from Terra and Kas and saw all the lovely images and embellishments, I knew right away what I was going to do. I saw the paper napkins that were in there and immediatly thought, I am covering something with that!!!! So that is what I did. I used a mod podge like substance to attatch it to the cube and then covered the whole thing with it so that it would be a little shiny and stiff. Then I took the images and instead of coloring each one I used Slate alcohol ink, Fired Brick and Weathered Wood Distress inks from Ranger products on each one. I love the image on the top as it looks like he is crawling out of the box, and the shiny skulls just add a little sumptin, sumptin... I didn't add anything to the bottom as it would be sitting on the table the whole time but there is something for every other side! The ribbon is attached to around the edge using teeny tiny nails that I found in the garage...Hope the Hubby didn't need them for anything! Oh Well! It's plain and simple but the depth of the napkin and the distressed look of the images make it look like I spent days on it ( I think) when really it only took a couple of hours! I hope you enjoy!

Fantastic Friendly Friday

Hello all! Can you believe that tomorrow is Halloween! It went by so fast! Does anyone have any special palns? I am staying home to give out candy, the daughter is going to a party, and hubby and son are going trick or treating! Thats it for us! This month has been awesome and I want to thank each and everyone of you for participating in the challenges and for all the lovely comments you have left! I greatly appreciate them!

This month I also received some very lovely RAKs and participated in some awesome swaps. So my project for today is to use the items I received from these lovely people who sent me things. THANK YOU TERRA, KAS, AND ROSIE! Today I am showing a card that I made for the Bombshell October Sketch challenge. I am saying now that I only know the names of some of the companies that my materials are from as they are all from RAKs. So the papers I used on this card are very lovely and from the RAK, the stamp is from Bombshell stamps, the ribbon is from a RAK and the cardstock is from Stampin Up! Oh yeah the microbeads are from Pennywise Arts!

I love the sketch that was put out for us! It is awesome!
Here is my card!
