Hello Lovelies, today I have for you a place card holder for the dinner we are going to have with a few friends....  We have this surplus of hugmongus paperclips for some reason and I thought I need to use them for something other than holding the pages of my art journal down!! So this is what you get when you put a domino and a huge paperclip together with some ribbon.....

The handles are not tied together so that it will still open!!

Day 15 of 31

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you a Domino Book using images from Moonlight journey and Bombshell stamps!  I painted my dominoes with black gesso and then beheaded my bombshell angel, it is the month of Halloween ya know, added the witches hat from the bombshell accessories set and the glued them to the front of the dominoes.  I covered them in glossy accents and added big black beads to the bottom for feet... a little fiber yarn and there you have it a Domnio book all about withches!!!

Day 14 of 31

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you an Altered Domino Pendant, ok well it was supposed to be a pendant and it will be as soon as my backorder gets here...I have some charms and some cording on backorder, why not go get some you say, well because I already paid and don't want to pay twice!!!  Anyway I used some beads I already had and when my charms get here I will add them as well!

The image is a little studio G one I got from the $ spot at michales!  I stamped it onto tissue paper then used floor varnish to adhere it.  I colored the domino with alcohol inks and my wonderful hubby drilled the holes for me!!!

Day 1 of 31

Hello Lovelies, welcome to the 4th year of 31 Days of Halloween!  I am super excited for this year because with the exception of 4 day, which are challenge days, I have all of my projects done!!!  I will keep my posts throughout the month short, one because that’s what I do when necessary and two cause we gotz 37 peeps to get through everyday!!!!  That is a lot and it makes me excited to have that many this year…. The first year it was just Terra and myself posting a project each day!!!  It sure has grown a lot!  As always the blog roll is on the right hand side bar!!!  
Today I am starting with a Domino Book using images from Itkupilli that I purchased a few years ago!  I used a ink splatter stamp from Smeared Ink in the background paper that I mounted the images on!

Hello Lovelies, Were almost to the end and then guess what?  Santa comes!!!  Well only if you’ve been the right kind of naughty!

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you another domino I made for the nursing home!  I hope they enjoy them!   Are you enjoying your Holiday season?  I am! 

Isn’t she a lovely little angel!  I think so! 

Today I am finalizing my packing for the whole family so that we are ready to go on the 17th which is the next posting day!  I am super excited for this Holiday, mainly because we get to go on a cruise!  My 1st ever!!!  We leave port on the 18th!!!!!

Hello Lovelies, I said earlier that most of my projects would be cards but now looking back on everything as I am auto posting these posts I realize that half are cards and half are altered items….now the altered items are mostly domino’s but they are still altered!  Remember that swap I was talking about a couple of days ago?  Well here are half of the dominoes that I altered for the swap, I know I know we have 16 people in the swap so lets just say that some repeat, but why bore you with double pictures!!!LOL

12 Days of Christmas Day 4

Hello Lovelies, welcome back!  I hope you are having a wonderful time on this lovely hop!  Today I have for you not a card but an altered item!   I have joined an altered domino ornament swap for the past couple of years.  The host of this years swap asked a favor from the swappers, she volunteers at a nursing home in her area, and she asked us to make a few extra so that she could decorate a tree for the people there!  So here is one of the extra domino’s I altered!

Day 30...adornments...

Hello lovelies, I don't think I found anymore of my non mushy brain but I did come up with a project I haven't shown yet!!!  Does that count?  Oh well.  Today I have for you two very lovely altered dominoes.  They are going to be part of a jewelry set I am making for a friend, but alas the set is not complete yet, so I am just showing the 2 pieces.  I again used the Quoth the Raven set from Smeared Ink!

I totally have to go and set up everything for tomorrow and take pictures so you can see everything!!!  I will talk to you later!

Day17... Spooky House Saturday

Hello everyone, Happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a great day. I just wanted to say how happy it makes me that you are all joining Terra and I on our Halloween excursion. I hope that you are all enjoying our projects and that you take the time to participate in them for yourselves.

Today I decided to make a SPOOKY ATC. This ATC was made quite honestly because my dremel tool was broken and we didn't have a bit small enough for the drill to make holes in the dominoes so that i could lace them together. The background is a patterned paper I made. I used chipboard and fingerpainted orange, purple, white, black, and green acrylic paints on it. While still wet I ran the SU spooky skyline wheel through it. Then sprinkled black and orange confetti stars, orange glitter and green glitter on it. The Haunted House image is one that I got from the $ spot at Michaels. I stamped them with stazon in and colored with paint pens and sharpies. The word at the bottome is from a set of stickers that I bought eons ago.
