New Challenge at Altered Pages

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you my DT project for the new AlteredPages.com November challenge!!!!   This months challenge is Rusted Colors!!  I know you can pull those off!!!  Be shre to head over to the challenge blog for the complete rules and to see what all the other DT members have made!!! 

I have made some table decorations for my project!  Remember you can also vote on which DT members project you like the most so that that DT member can win a prize as well!!! 

I made a paper rosette out of rust colored cardstock and used an image from the Happy Thanksgiving Collage sheet AP-335.  I tied the rosette on with hemp twine.  The ring is an assortment of beads attached with wire.

I took the large one out of it's ring to photograph them together because they are not going to be together on the table so the small one doesn't have a ring....

This little guy has a strip of foil embossed with my Tim Holtz embossing folder and then colored with alcohol inks.  It is attached with brads. 

The rosette has gold metallic paint rubbed on with my finger to give it a gilded(kinda) look!

Hello Lovelies,  I am getting sad and excited....sad because I don't want the month to end but excited because I am ready for Halloween to get here!!!! 

Today I have another altered Domnio pendant for you...the last one of the month...  No wire wrapping on this one but I do enjoy that!!!

This little stamps is a postage stamp i got a couple of years ago can't remember where or who....then I pulled out that witch ribbon again, I love that stuff!!!  some small beads and there ya go!!!

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you an Altered Domino Pendant, ok well it was supposed to be a pendant and it will be as soon as my backorder gets here...I have some charms and some cording on backorder, why not go get some you say, well because I already paid and don't want to pay twice!!!  Anyway I used some beads I already had and when my charms get here I will add them as well!

The image is a little studio G one I got from the $ spot at michales!  I stamped it onto tissue paper then used floor varnish to adhere it.  I colored the domino with alcohol inks and my wonderful hubby drilled the holes for me!!!

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you an art journal page I made using a pumpkin image from inkadinkado and tattered angels.  The sentiment is from Dilly Beans. 

 

I am totally loving the way that background turned out!!!  it's just patterned paper over the decorative paper.... Those beads are some I have had in my stash and the pumpkin ones are from a necklace a dear lady gave me a few years ago that broke but I thought of so many other ways to use them instead of just a necklace.  Thanks NANA....  I still have some on a bracelet, but wanted it in other aspects as well! 

 

 This month the Bombshell DT is starting something new.  It's called muse monday.  What is muse monday you say, it's where our Challenge Captain Alison picks a set everymonth to spotlight and the DT members will alter mondays and make a project using only that set every monday.  I have chosen this monday to use our featured set of the month  Fiesta Calavaris.
