Part 4 of Franks Adventures…

Last time we heard from Frank he was totally bummed at the thought of closing his chocolate factory….
So Frank put on his thinking hat and continuously thought of what he could make out of chocolate that was new for the company but most importantly new for the world!  He thought and thought all over his long weekend and finally came up with something he knew was going to be great!!!

Chocolate clothes.  Now he wanted to start with women’s nighties so he did!  And wouldn’t you know it, they were a huge hit.  World wide success over night!!!!  He was so excited and so was the head chocolate man in charge, so excited in fact that he gave Frank another factory so he could produce several lines at once!!!!

Frank was tickled pink at the idea that he now had two chocolate factories and that he had the number one selling line of chocolate and clothes out there!!! Every time he thought about it he got teary eyed!

Thanks for going with Frank on his roller coaster ride through the chocolate factory!  He greatly appreciates your support!

Part 3 of Franks Adventures

(If you are looking for the Skull Appreciation Day hop please scroll down to the next post)

Hello Lovelies, last time we left Frank, he was headed to a private meeting with the head candy man himself…(add creepy dun, dun, dun, music here).

As you may remember everything was going great for Frank, his company was number one, he was meeting his hero, every things was sunshine and rainbows!!!  Well  that is all changing…  You see, during this meeting Frank was told that although he was doing so well, because his factory was the farthest away from headquarters that unless he came up with something new and exciting to produce out of chocolate that his factory would be shut down!!!!  Now as you can imagine this left Frank feeling quite sad and angry.  You might even say he was feeling BLUE….

You also could say that he was seeing red when he found all this information out!!!

He just couldn’t believe what he was hearing!  I mean how dare they threaten to close him down when he was the best and he had made his life long dream come true!!!!!!!!!

So Frank started thinking, and thinking, and it took a lot of concentration for him to do this, but he stuck to it.  The only thing on his mind was CHOCOLATE…

Big Fish-y Carnival

This week Smeared Ink is the sponsor for The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge!  This weeks challenge was to create a Big Fish-y scene!  Totally love this movie! So that was our inspiration for the project we needed to make.  I love the scene where he is underwater in his car and the mermaid comes to help out.  So I tried to recreate that in my card. If you have not done so you should totally check out the sites above and also Smeared and Smudged there are some pretty awesome things going on at all of them!!!

I used Tim Holtz patterned paper, the Mermaid and words are from the Carnies stamp set from Smeared Ink(which happens to be the prize for this challenge plus the carnie digi), micor beads from Pennywise Arts, and SU cardstock, and Tim Holtz distress ink refills to color the oval frame. I colored my Mermaid with copics # B00, B05, B32, BG23, E21, G02, R27. Everything is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Happy Birthday or Whatever!

***FOR THOSE WHO SAW THIS BEFORE CORRECTIONS, I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO STAMPITCRAZY!  SHE IS THEIR IMAGE NOT STAMP INSANITY AS I STATED EARLIER!!This is what happens when I try to rush, type, and think of future things all at the same time!!!***
First let me apologize that this will be short, the USA plays soccer(football) in about 15 min. and I so have to watch that game.  I wanted to get this on here though because I think it is an awesome challenge and blog, go check it out!!!  Here is a little card that I made for The Burtonesque Dolls challenge #7.  The theme of this challenge was Creepy Birthday to you!  We needed to make a creepy birthday card, one that the Burtons would be proud of!  Here is what I came up with. I used all SU cardstock and the patterned paper is from My Minds Eye it is part of the spider's web series.  My lovely little Vintage Goth girl (well that's what I think of when I see her) is from StampItCrazy! Hope you enjoy!!!
