Semi Explosion Box

Today I am sharing my last project for the Stampendous 31 Days of Halloween and I am super sad about that!  I have had so much fun and greatly appreciate Laura and all the Design Team for having me as a guest this month!

My last project is a Semi Explosion Box, no I am not blowing up a truck!  I have made an explosion box, but I didn't want it to just go every where so I made a semi booming one!!  LOL

This video shows how to assemble the inside piece for the lipgloss.

To make this project you need 4 pieces of card stock total, 3 for the box and one for the lid,  for the box you need a piece of cardstock that measures 9 3/4 square scored at 3 1/4 one each side, you need another piece of card stock that measures 8 1/4 square scored at 2 3/4 on each side, and on the last piece for the box you need 2 pieces, one that measures 6 3/4 square scored at 2 1/4 on each side, also from that piece you need a 3 inch square score at 1/4 and 1/2 on all sides doe the inside.

Once you have burnished all of the score lines, cut the 4 outer squares so that your cardstock looks like a plus sign!

For the lid you need a piece of cardstock that measures 4 1/4 square scored at 1/2 on each side using the tick mark on your score board... not butted up against the side but about a 1/16 of an inch away!!

I have used every stamp set that Laura sent me this month on this box, which is why I like it the most, not to mention the surprise inside this one!!!  It is so super cute and I show it in the video!!!

Spooktacular Chapstick Holder

Today I am showing a chapstick holder.  I found this amazing chapstick at target and it is supposed to make your lips buzz so I had to get it.  I am going to give this to my son-in-law and I know he will love it!!!

It's called Lip Freak and it says it will freak your lips out with the buzzing!!!  I am super excited to see if it does!!

Here is the finished project, I love the Sugar Skull set from Stampendous!!

For todays project you need a piece of cardstock that measures 7 1/8 x 3 7/8.

Score the 7 1/8 side @ 2 5/8, 3 1/4, 5 7/8, and 6 1/2

Score the 3 7/8 side @ 5/8 and 3 1/4

Patterned paper needed:

(1) 2 1/2 " square

(3) 1/2 x 2 1/2

Nugget Candy Box

Today we are making a box that holds 6 Hershey's Nuggets!!!

For this project you will need a piece of cardstock that measures 7.5 x 4.5

Score the 7.5 inch side @ .75, 3.5, 4.25, and 7

Score the 4.5 inch side @ .75 and 3.75

Patterned paper pieces need to be 2.75 x 2.5 (1) and .5x2.75(2)

For the nugget candies you need 6 pieces of patterned paper that measure 1 x 3.

Tea Box Halloween Style

Today I am making a box that will hold 4 tea bags for that person, or people in your life that love hot tea!!

You will need an envelope punch board (EVPB) for part of this project!

Starting with the EVPB and 4 pieces of patterned paper measuring 5x5 make your first punch and score @ 2 3/8 then follow the score lines around until you have punched and scored all 4 sides of each piece of paper.

For the inside of the wrap you need a piece of card stock measuring: 4" x 3".  Score the 4" side every 1/2 inch... so... 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3, and 3 1/2.

Today I am sharing a Bag that hold 2 bottles of Nail Polish.  All of my children, girls and boys alike, love to paint their nails so this gift was a no brainer for me!  I will probably give this one to Hunter because Hunter lives with me and I can use them too!!!!  ;o.

Score the 8.5 side @ 1.25, 4, 5.25, and 8
Score the 6 side @ 1.25
You need 2 pieces of Pattern Paper cut to 2 5/8 x 4 3/8

Candy Box for that Special Person

Today I am making a box for a special person, with special candy in it!!!  I don't know if you know this or not, but I love love love dark chocolate!!!  Any dark chocolate especially those with sea salt, almonds, and or caramel in them.  I don't get to have them often so when I have a bag I like to keep them "hidden" away from everyone else.  Today I am sharing!!!  And he better appreciate it a whole heck of a lot!!!!

BTW, he loved them and didn't even offer to share!!!!

My project, also know as a 3, 2, 1 box I saw on Pootles.co.uk, uses a piece of card stock that measures 9" x 4".

Score the 9" side @ 1, 4, 5, and 8
Score the 4" side @ 1 and 3

You need  Pattern Paper pieces cut to 2.75 x 1.75 (1)
1.75 x .75 (2). and 2.75 x .75 (2)

Fun Size Treat Box

Today I have for you a small treat box, just big enough to hold those fun sized candies.  Ok, I have only tried with Twix and Milky Way, but they both fit into this box!

We start with a 9 x 3 piece of card stock. 

Score the 9" side at: 1, 4, 5, and 8

Score the 3" side at: 1 and 2

Patterned Paper pieces are 2 7/8 x 7/8 (3)

7/8 x 7/8 (2)

Purse Size Hand Cream Holder

Today we are making a small hand cream holder.  I love Nivea hand cream and greatly appreciate my sister introducing it to me several years ago!  I thought it would be nice to make a few for some friends and family for the upcoming winter months !

Starting with a piece of card stock that is 7 1/8 x 3 7/8, score the 7 1/8" side at 2 5/8, 3 1/4, 5 7/8, and 6 1/2. Score the 3 7/8" side at 5/8 and 3 1/4.

Patterned paper pieces measure 2 1/2" square (1) and 1/2 x 2 1/2(4)

31 Days of Halloween with Stampendous

This year I decided to make Halloween gifts, who says gifts are only for birthday's and Christmas?  Not me!  So that's what I have done, weather or not it is a candle or a piece of candy it's still nice to receive a nice little goodie when you aren't expecting it!!!

My project today is a Candle Bag.  My Daughter Jewel loves candles, any candle as long as it smells good!  I found these small jar candles at Walmart for 96 cents and had to pick up a few, by a few I mean like 10 or so!!  LOL.

We need a piece of card stock that measures 10.25 x 7.5
Score the 10.25 side @ 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10
Score the 7.5 side @ 2.5  flip over and score @ 7

Our Patterned paper pieces measure 4.5 x 2.5 and you need 2 of those!

Pocket Letter reveal

OK guys, here it is the pocket letter reveal...  As you can see they are similar but not exactly the same.  The goodies I put in them are just some I had from my stash... I wrapped some washi tape around some acetate I had and punched the corners to make it look like a tag.  Stamped some images from some way old Halloween stamp sets, added some tags from the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland collection, some stickers, some wooden embellies... The blank space in the top center of each is for a note I am writing to each of my friends... I hope you have a wonderful Halloween!!!

OK guys, you know that stamp set I was talking about that I just had to have...  Well it's from Lawn Fawn and it is called Happy Howl-o-ween...  Now if you  know me, like really know me you know I have a Dachshund and love all things Dachshund!!!  So when they came out with this stamp set I had to, like really really had to have it... (FYI I got the Happy Howl-a-days set too!!)
