Sending Christmas Cheer

Hey guys, today I have a card made using the Christmas Cheer stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  It is also featuring the New December Sparkle Blend Juniper Berries from Doodles Paper Playground!   I love the colors of this set!  I love snowflakes, so I had to put the two together!!!

I am not sure you would consider this a clean and simple card because of the sequins on it, but for me it is clean and simple!!!  I used every snowflake stamp from the Christmas Cheer set and Archival inks in Forget-Me-not, Paradise Teal, Vivid Chartreuse, and Majestic Violet to stamp my snowflakes in one corner(ish) of the card and added the sequins from the Juniper Berries sparkle blend.  I thought the colors matched quite nicely!  The sentiment is stamped in Forget-me-not and is from the Christmas Cheer stamp set.  I purchased the December Card Kit from SSS but unfortunately it is sold out.  You can still purchase the stamp set though!!!  Remember you can only find DPP Sparkle Blends exclusively at White Rose Crafts!!!

I have used the Christmas Cheer stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit.  While the kit is sold out you can still get the stamp set here.  I stamped my images onto Kraft card stock and colored them with my Spectrum Noir colored pencils.  I cut the shaker window with the Fitted Frames B from Stampendous and filled it with the Icicle Sparkle Blend!

Day 1 of 31

Hey Guys, welcome to another year of 31 Days of Halloween!!!  Today I have a cute little shaker card for you!  Way back when Simon Says Stamp asked for people to participate in Stamptember, a month long release they do every year, so of course I put my name into the drawing and I got picked!!!  My stamps set to showcase got released day before yesterday and I was super excited to be able to use it several times during 31 Days!!!

The stamp set is called How we Roll and it is a Waffle Flower exclusive for Stamptember!!, ,I also received a matching die with the stamp set!  Here is my first card I made with it.

This year I have tried to use what Halloween supplies I have on hand, which is good amount!  I am doing this because our house has still not sold and we are basically paying 2 mortgages because our rent is as much as our house payment!!!  BUT I am totally super excited about being in the same house with my husband again because I missed him a whole lot when he got the new job and moved to Idaho!!!  So good news is we live in the same house again, bad/sad news is I can't buy new goodies just yet!!!

Here is the blog roll. I am also going to have it in the sidebar all month!!!
