Bombshell Blog Hop

Hello Lovelies, welcome to this months version of the Bombshell Blog hop!!!  This month Ms. Alison has set our theme to be all about the boys!!!  “Let’s hear it for the boys” to be exact!  Now you can interpret this as you wish, I wanted to take this opportunity to make it all be about my son as I am frequently posting about my daughter!!!

So also to go along with the August Pin-Up theme of scrapbooking I decided to make a page about my baby boy since I made one for my baby girl a couple of weeks ago.  Now most of you know that I do not scrapbook and when I do it is mostly digital so of course that is what this is!  I used the Bombshell digital stamp sets, Western 1 and Western 2 for this page.  It is a quite simple page but I tend to like those better for some reason!!!  Anyway this is a huge hop and I don’t want to keep you to long as we have some wonderful bloggers this month!!!  It was wonderful to see so many former DT members hopping with us this month, I hope they continue!!!

Here is my project all about my boy Hunter….Keep in mind my “baby” is 13 almost 14!!!

Now head on over to see what everyone else has made and if you didn’t start at the bombshell blog then please go there and start this wonderful journey!!!

Ms. August Pinup Challenge

Hello lovelies, I am here today with the project I made for Ms. Augusts' challenge!  She challenged us to make a scrapbook page using bombshells and as you all know I am not a scrapbooker.  I do have some pages made and they are mostly digital so this was really a challenge for me.  I like scrapbooking I just don't do it for some reason!!!  So this time I stamped out some images from the Cherry Bomb set from Bombshell stamps, colored them then took photos and used them as digi stamps on my layout,  added some pictures of my daughter with her red hair that she now sports (because she is my cherry bomb!!!) and there you have my page!  Her hair is lots shorter now but still just as red!!!  I hope you enjoy and leave me some love and then head over to the Bombshell Blog to see what others have made and see how you can enter this months challenge for your chance to win some wonderful prizes!!!

Paper Rosette Banner Bombshell Tutorial

Hello Lovelies, today I am sharing with you a tutorial for Bombshell stamps.  It’s a Rosette Banner made without using Dies.  Yeah I know there are dies out there but I don’t have them and it’s easy to make them without one so here we go!  This banner is going to be used for a Halloween decoration in my house so it is black and ivory to go with my black and white theme but feel free to use any colors you wish!

Supplies needed:
Paper Cutter
Paper Scorer
Hole Punches or circle cutters
Patterned paper ( i used Black and Ivory French Script from Canvas Corp)
Cardstock ( I used Black and Ivory)
Bombshell Images ( I used Sugar Daddy, Retro Cowgirl, Man’s Ruin, and the Halloween Costume Digital set)
Inks (Black Soot and Antique Linen distress inks used here)
Double sided tape ( I used red lined tape, just make sure it’s strong tape)

If you want to hang it the way I did you are going to need 10 beads, 15 large jump rings and 12 small jump rings, 11 eyelets.  I put an eyelet into the bottom of the last rosette incase I wanted to add something there at a later date.  I didn’t have anything here now!

Hope you enjoy!!!
