Washi Away... Bombshell Hump day Hop

Hey guys, it's time for another Bombshell Hump day Hop and this week Alison has set for us to play with Washi Tape... Now I am OBSESSED with washi tape, I have boxes full of it and can't seem to stop acquiring it.... it's a bad habit I know but it makes wonderful backgrounds in journals and wicked sweet decorative edges when you want a tip in or something of the sort!!!  Anyway I used the wings from the Butterfly Queen and some black and white butterfly washi tape.

I am also obsessed with black and white color combo right now for some reason.... who knows!!

Now head on over to Kathi's blog to see what she has made for us today!!

Day 30 of 31 and Hump Day Hop

Hey guys, today is the last Wednesday of the month and you know what that means, Hump Day(said like the commercial with the camel!!) hop by Bombshell Stamps!!!

Alison set for our theme this month Witching Hour.  I immediately knew I wanted to use the Halloween Costume Digi set for Bombshell Angel, I just didn't know what else I wanted to do with her!!!  So I am working on other projects and remember this partial quote from a Shakespeare writing and thought it would be great to use!!! Some say that this is where the term Witching Hour came from, but no one really knows for sure!!!  Anyway here is my project:

'Tis now the very witching time of night..

Here is the whole Soliloquy from Hamlet:

Tis now the very witching time of night,
When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out
Contagion to this world: now could I drink hot blood
And do such bitter business as the day
Would quake to look on. Soft! now to my mother.
O heart, lose not thy nature; let not ever
The soul of Nero enter this firm bosom:
Let me be cruel, not unnatural:
I will speak daggers to her, but use none;
My tongue and soul in this be hypocrites
How in my words soever she be shent,
To give them seals never, my soul, consent!

Bombshell Hump Day Hop

It's time for this months Bombshell Hump Day Hop!!! If you started her please go to the Bombshell blog to get the complete hop list!! This month Alison set for us a them about Speed Demons/Masters of Transportation!!!  So I thought why not do a scrapbook page!  I know I know, stop rubbing your eyes, you read that right, I made a Scrapbook page!!!  About a year or so ago my husband acquired another car, I say another because we are a family of 4 only 3 of us can drives as of now and we had 4 vehicles already when he decided he wanted this one!!!  That gave us a grand total of 5 cars for 4 people.... since then we have gotten rid of one of them so I guess now we have an even number of cars and people!!  So it all worked out right?!

Anyway, this car I have to admit is awesome!!  It is a 1966 Mercury Park Lane, otherwise known as a land yacht!!!  It is 8 feet wide and 18 feet long. It's freaking huge!!  LOL  but it is a great car and we drive it often.  Of course there is always something to improve on it and eventually he will have it looking like it did when it first rolled off the line but that doesn't stop him from taking it to local car shows...  Which is where I wanted my project to go, but when it came time to print the picture I wanted for this page I couldn't find them... Not on the memory card, not on a computer, no where.. Hubby even said he put them on facebook but nope not there!!!  So I had to go out and get a picture of the car without all the hoopla that went with it but it's still an awesome car!!!

So here is my project:

see I can't even get the whole car in one picture!!!

Now head on over to Kathi's blog to see what she has made!!

HUMP DAY HOP

Hello Lovelies, today is the Hump day hop and this month Ms. Alison set this theme for us this month!!!

"Paint the Town." I am super excited about this one! Let's break out some paint! Splatter it, brush it on, drip it...just use paint somewhere on your project. And don't forget about all of those fabulous sprays that so many of us own! They count too!

Now I have been doing a lot of art journaling and spraying and spritzing and painting a LOT!!  I always have a roll of paper towels on my table when I am journaling because I use them to wipe up the excess sprays and paints.  Well me being me, I don't like to waste cause honestly that stuff is expensive!!!  So once the paper towels on the roll are saturated I take them off the roll and set them aside to dry then when they are dry I use them on backgrounds like this one:

I used the Till Death stamp set from Bombshell stamps!

So now head on over to Kathi's blog to see her creation and remember to leave everyone some LOVE!!!

Bombshell Blog Hop

Hello Lovelies, it’s time for another Bombshell hop.  I know I know i have been missing in action a lot lately, that is a story for another day and another post which is coming soon I promise!  Let’s just say that it hasn’t been a very good couple of months and leave it at that!!! For now!

Anyway the theme for this month is Baby it’s cold outside… I made this wonderful pendant using an image from the All my heart set from bombshell… My version of a wonderful Christmas ornament I received this past Christmas!  Anyway, I am lying in my bed right now with not a picture of it in sight, why you ask, I’ll tell you. I can’t go up and down the stairs at this point in time and for some reason NO ONE can find the damn thing for me!!!  I digress though… luckily I have had my daughter stamp out some images for me and I have been Zen doodling on them while I have been unable to move!!!  So my image has nothing to do with the hop theme and that makes me very sad but I so wanted to participate and I did make something for the hop, it’s not my fault my damn back decided to go out on me!!!  Honestly it’s not!  Anyway  here is what I have been playing with while laid up in the bed.

and here is the rest of the hop list!!!!  Sorry I can’t get my picture to you right now!!!  I’ll show it as soon as I get to go downstairs!!!

Bombshell Hump Day Hop

Hello Lovelies, today is the day... The one we wait all month for! The Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop!!! Here is what our lovely Ms. Alison had to say about this months hop:

Greetings, Bombshell Fans! It's time to announce the November Hump Day Hop! Since many of us are getting ready to think about cooking for Thanksgiving, I thought it would be fun to have a recipe challenge! Ingredients: 3 Patterned Papers 2 Bombshell Stamps images 1 Piece of Ribbon

I used 3 Pattern papers from the Holly Jolly Christmas collection from Echo Park Paper Co. Love that set! My 2 stamps were from the bombshell stamp sets A Pirates Life and from the Gingerbread Pin-Up digi set.  My ribbon is some I found in my stash while I was in that portion of my month long purge and says Happy Holidays on it...I really don't know where I got it from sorry!

Now having missed the sketch challenge on it's scheduled date for personal reasons I have done my card following the sketch Kathi made this month!

Remember that if you started here to head over to the Bombshell blog to start at the beginning and to leave love for everyone for your chance to win some awesome prizes!!!

Day 31 of 31

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
I am super excited to have participated in another year of 31 days.  When Terra and I started this we had no idea it would take off like it has.  I am extremely happy that she and Tori have decided to continue with it on S&S.  I will always be a part of this I look forward to it every year!!

UMMM yeah, Hi  that's me all excited about today!!!  Not only is it Halloween it is Bombshell Hop day and our lovely ms Alison has determined that this year we will do Black, White and one other color!!!!!

Cool for me you know I love black and white and my other color this year is Orange.  Why I don't use orange more often is not known.  I like the color I just don't use it much until the month of October for some reason.

So yeah I took my Bombshell Halloween Digi set and made another Tag.  Then I took the Sugar Daddy set and made a shrinky for a charm and added some poison goop to a vial....

poison goop is glossy accents mixed with black soot reinker!!!

I added some black enamal to the words with a really shakey hand so that it didn't look perfect!

Here is the hop list:

Remember the Smeared list is on the sidebar!!!  Leave lots of love for everyone!!!

Let's Hear it for theGirls!!!

Hello Lovelies!  It's time for this months Bombshell Blog Hop!!!  Last month was all about the boys and this month it's all about the GIRLS!!!!  Here is what Ms. Alison had to say about this months hop!

Last month, it was all about the boys...well this month, in anticipation of October, the theme is "Let's Hear it for the Girls!" This theme is a little more specific then last month's though. I want you to create a card or project that could be sent to someone during October, which is (here in the States), Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So let's all Think Pink!

You can go with a pink card, Girl Power, use the infamous pink ribbon symbol, etc. But we want to worship those ladies that are fighting (or have fought) for their lives.

So I couldn't wait to get started on my project for this month!  Unfortunately I have had several members of my family fight this battle and not win.  I wanted to make a bracelet that could be worn all the time not just during the month so I pulled out the beads and the shrinky dinks and got to stamping and beading!  I made a bracelet for all the ladies in my family to wear in rememberance of those we have lost.  One Bombshell for each lovely lady we have lost.  I do not want to add any more to this bracelet!!!

I used Bombshell Angel, Butterfly Queen, and Retro Cowgirl for my bracelet.

Now remember that you can win prizes from Bombshell every month just by participating in our challenges and commenting on all the members of the hops projects!!!  Random winners are chosen every month by our prize patrol hottie!!!  So leave everyone some love and I will give you the entire hop list in case you missed anyone!!!!

Bombshell Blog Hop

Hello Lovelies, It’s time for another Bombshell Blog Hop!!!  I am super stoked about this one as it is a color challenge and sometimes you just need that extra little push to get the creative juices flowing!  On this I kept it pretty simple as there are 7 gagillion other things going on at the moment.  I used the butterflies from the Butterfly Queen bombshell set

Here is the color Palette that MS. Alison gave us to work with this month!

Day 26 of 31

Hello Lovelies, welcome to this months version of the Bombshell Blog hop!  Yep that’s right we are back to do the monthly blog hop because they were dearly missed and the lovely Ms. Alison decided that she could handle all us rowdy bombshells!!! LOL

This month being Halloween and all I bet you will never guess what the theme is!! LOL Winking smile  Here is what Ms. Alison had to say about this months theme:
It's October! It's October! My very most favorite month of the year! Can you tell I'm excited??? So...what's this month's Bombshell Hump Day Hop Theme? Let me start off by saying I was really happy to see that last month's hop had so many Halloween projects in it. Without further adieu, this month's theme is...Halloween of course! But...it's with a twist. You must include skeletons or a skull in/on it somewhere. You can use any of the numerous Bombshell Stamps skeletons, or you can create your own. Just make sure you get your Bombshell Stamps in there somewhere! You may also create a Day of the Dead project for this hop. But I couldn't fit it all in the title! ;)
So here is what I made!  I used the skull from the Man’s Ruin stamp set.
IMG_0990IMG_0991.
I am always in need of some wonderful bling!!!  I found this charm at Michaels and had to pick it up, not quite knowing what I was going to do with it, then this challenge came up and I couldn’t resist!!!
Remember to go and see what everyone else has made and also to finish the 31 days hop!!!

Put me in the Movies…Bombshell style

Hello lovelies, you know it, it’s time for the Bombshell blog hop!  The ever lovely Ms. Alison has set forth for us this month an awesome challenge!  This is what Ms. Ali had to say…
This month, the theme is "Put Me in the Movies." Take a movie, and/or movie poster, and use it to inspire your Bombshell Stamps project! Any of your stamp sets will work! And, you can make anything you want!
To get the inspiration flowing...think about using a hot rod set for Cars 2, Sugar Skulls for a horror flick, ship for a Pirate's of the Caribbean movie, etc. And that's not even mentioning your Bombshell gals!

Now doesn’t that just leave us open to do anything!!!  It quite honestly took me a while to find a movie I wanted to work with and then last week I found it…”Gentlemen Prefer Blonds” with Marilyn Monroe.  I have to admit I am not a big huge Marilyn fan but I found this poster of her one day while shopping with the kids and was sitting here staring at it trying to figure out what to do and DUH  look for Marilyn Monroe as she was nothing but a Bombshell!!!
IMG_0858
Isn’t that a wicked sweet picture!!!

Anyway while looking through movie titles I saw this poster…
images
So I thought I would work with it!  Now I love the sparkly red they are wearing and it inspired this tag that I made.  I will use it for my cousin who’s wife is a brunette!

Now hop on over to see what everyone else has made!  Remember to leave a comment on every blog to be eligible to win a fabulous prize… More info on the Bombshell blog!!!

Bombshell Blog Hop

Hello Lovelies, It's time for another Bombshell Blog hop!  I am so excited that we started doing these again, I sure did miss them!  This month our lovely Blog hop Captain Alison set forth a color task...These are the colors she wanted us to use...

44916557_a2yGNvL9_b[1].jpg

aren't they lovely.  I really really tried to use all 5 colors but try as I might i could not get it to look right for me.  Now when you see my card your going to say, well hell Kelli, Koi (from my new Bombshell set Lotus Garden) fish aren't those colors anyway... Well let me tell you something, it's a fine line I am walking living in the real world versus Kellitopia and I just so happened to be in Kellitopia the day I made this card so the Koi fish are this color there!!!! (I double dipped on this card as it is the Bombshell sketch challenge also!!!)

So welcome to Kellitopia, come on is, grab a cuppa and sit a spell....It's fun here I promise....(insert evil grin and laugh here).

Now leave me some love by way of commenting for entries into this months drawing!!!  Then after that head on over to see what everyone else has created!!!!  If you haven't been hopping and just came here well then aren't you sweet but now head on over to the Bombshell blog to get the hop started!!!

Bombshell Blog Hop

Well Hello lovelies, welcome to another wonderful Bombshell blog hop.  This month our Blog hop captain Alison has issued a great theme…. Shiver Me Timbers!!!

I actually colored two images for this hop, but alas with mini vacations, and preparing for big vacations I was only able to make one card….but I did change the language on my FB page to Pirate if that counts for anything!!! I went a little bit naughty with my thoughts on this card.  OK OK I went a whole lot naughty with my thoughts for this card!!!  I used the Bombshell stamp sets A Pirates Life and Sugar Daddy.  Threw in a little bit of Katie masking technique some pirate patterned paper and some SU cardstock and this is what you get.

Now our hops start at the Bombshell Blog so if you haven’t been to the beginning then you better go and have a look at all the wonderful projects being displayed today!!!!  If you did start at the beginning please carry on!!!

Bombshell Hump Day Hop

Hello Lovelies!!!  Yes you are reading the post title correctly, it's time for the return of the monthly Bombshell Hump Day Hop!!!!  I was so excited when this was put to the DT members if we wanted to resurrect the hop so to say and very very excited that my friend Alison decided to take over!!!

This month is awesome and I can't wait for next months either!!!!  This month Alison said:

Goth up your Bombshells!!!

Yup! Let's break out the heavy eyeliner, dark, edgy clothes and let's turn those beautiful pinups into creatures of the night! Don't forget to draw some tats and chokers on to your girls too! We're going to dress 'em up Alison style!

And I have to say it just may be Kelli style.....  Now I didn't go short skirt hiking boots, or fishnets and torn shorts, although I have several Bombshells colored in that manner....I just didn't choose those to be my final project!!!  Nope I chose the one that was inspired by Morticia and Elvira with a little Lady GAGA thrown in there for good measure.... I mean why pass up the opportunity for the ultimate Bombsell!!!!

Now the Bombshell was stamped out and colored with copics and stickles.  Her skirt is a piece of Halloween ribbon I had left over!  The patterened paper with the lips was a RAK and the silver cardstock from Michales.  The skull in the background was a digital add on once  the card was complete!!!   I just realized that I can use this as a twofer.... Ms. May Bombshell has a challenge on the forum!!  Now hop on over and see what everyone else has made for you today!!!!!

Bombshell Bloghop

Hello lovelies, yes you read correctly, a Bombshell Blog Hop!!!  I have missed them so. You should have come from Rachael's blog This month we were challenged to make a wedding themed project for the hop and I have made something that I think could interpert wedding/love.  A while ago while perusing through the thrift shops I came across this little lantern that needed a little help.  You all know me though, if I think I can fix it I will own it and nothing will stop me!!! LOL  Anyway, I picked it up and knew right away what I wanted to do with it, but never could settle on a stamp set to use.  So when this challenge came along i knew that I could finally make it.  So here I am stamping on vellum and coloring with copics thinking why stop at one set, so my future will be filled with more vellum so that I can change out the pictures when I get the whim.

As I said I don't know if most would consider it wedding, but itis about love, and you really shouldn't have a wedding without love...at least that's my opinion!!  Anyway it's about love and not only for the saying on the sides but because i incorporated my family into it.  I used the children's favorite colors, which is why there is a blue and an orange, and the hubby well he's in everything I do.... oh my that sounded sappy...as my goodriend BD would say, here's the sick bucket!!!!

Doesn't it glow so pretty!!!

The poem says: Life without love, it's often said, is a seedless garden where the flowers are dead.

So now what to do with it.... well  I just got a new patio set with a gazebo so I am thinking it will hand from the center of the gazebo for all to see!!! So now off you go to Cheryl's blog to continue your Bombsell journey today!!! Enjoy and make sure to leave everyone some love!!!
