Bombshell Blog Hop

Well Hello lovelies, welcome to another wonderful Bombshell blog hop.  This month our Blog hop captain Alison has issued a great theme…. Shiver Me Timbers!!!

I actually colored two images for this hop, but alas with mini vacations, and preparing for big vacations I was only able to make one card….but I did change the language on my FB page to Pirate if that counts for anything!!! I went a little bit naughty with my thoughts on this card.  OK OK I went a whole lot naughty with my thoughts for this card!!!  I used the Bombshell stamp sets A Pirates Life and Sugar Daddy.  Threw in a little bit of Katie masking technique some pirate patterned paper and some SU cardstock and this is what you get.

Smudgy Antics Day

Hello lovelies, It's my tuesday to post on Smudgy Antics, well Jewel's day.... I was crazy busy this past few weeks getting back from one vacation and preparing for another. Finishing project that I knew were due while I was away, a huge pile by the way. So here I am in the middle of preparing hands for a fat book swap, making ATCs for another swap, 30 of them, and getting cards ready for various other reasons and I remember IT’S MY TUESDAY!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, so my wonderful, lovely, talented daughter says, that’s ok mom I can help you!!! And help me she did, She made this weeks card for you using the Killer Bo Peep set from Smeared Ink. She did a wonderful job if I do say so myself as the proud mommy!!!

IMG_0484

Now she told me she didn’t want it to say anything because she couldn’t think of anything for it to say right now so that’s why it doesn’t say anything!!! I love the grey and black roses that the sheep is standing in! I also love the way she colored peep with her acid yellow hair!!! The background paper I can’t remember where that came from but the cardstock is SU. Please leave her some love!!!

My Wonderland…..

Hello Lovelies, today I have to share with you a card I made using Piper, a new image from a new line of Simply Betty Stamps.  She is wonderful as is the whole line, but there is something about this one that I LOVE!!!!!  The Burtonesque Dolls have issued a challenge:
Put Me in a Burton Film! Which means take your image, any image and put that image in any Burton film... think Alice, Mrs. Lovette, Lidia, PeeWee Herman, Jack Skellington... the sky's the limit! Just...
PUT ME IN A BURTON MOVIE!

SOOOOO…..  I did… Now one of my favorite Burton movies is Alice in Wonderland!  I think Alice could be a little bit wicked(er) so I made her that way!!!

What do you think?  The cardstock is from SU, the paper is G45, the key is a charm I had for jewelry making and the image is Piper from Simply Betty!

Forever Friends

Hello Lovelies, Today is my day to post on the Smudgy Antics blog and I am late Sorry!  I had a wonderfully long weekend vacation and am running a little behind.. Today I am showing a “scrapbook” I am working on.  As most of you know I spent my long weekend vacation in NY visiting Alison and her family and while there we went to the Long Island Children’s Museum. It was so fun!  Anyway, I knew I wanted to scrap the pictures that were taken and also start scrapping the 17 gagillion boxes of pictures I have so why not start now!!!  Anyway, I knew this had to be something that wasn’t just an 8x8 page or a 12x12 page and I had these lying around so this is what I am doing….
I am taking this…
 IMG_0429
and turning it into a scrapbook.  As of now I just have one section started and it isn’t done, but I wanted to show you to give you an Idea of what I was doing.  I am thinking of doing both sides and hanging it from the ceiling in my craft room, what do you think?  Then again if I do one side I can hang it on the wall…. decisions decisions…. Ok so for the first one, Alison and I took a picture together that reminded me of the fun house mirrors at a carnival so that is what I went with.  Right now all I have on the section is the paper and the words which came from the Carnies set over at Smeared Ink.  The picture is added digitally but I will have them printed out soon!!!
What do you think?  Good idea? Bad idea? Throw it out? Keep it?  I need opinions as I am just getting into the scrapping thing!!!

Part 4 of Franks Adventures…

Last time we heard from Frank he was totally bummed at the thought of closing his chocolate factory….
So Frank put on his thinking hat and continuously thought of what he could make out of chocolate that was new for the company but most importantly new for the world!  He thought and thought all over his long weekend and finally came up with something he knew was going to be great!!!
IMG_0423IMG_0422
Chocolate clothes.  Now he wanted to start with women’s nighties so he did!  And wouldn’t you know it, they were a huge hit.  World wide success over night!!!!  He was so excited and so was the head chocolate man in charge, so excited in fact that he gave Frank another factory so he could produce several lines at once!!!!
IMG_0424
Frank was tickled pink at the idea that he now had two chocolate factories and that he had the number one selling line of chocolate and clothes out there!!! Every time he thought about it he got teary eyed!

Thanks for going with Frank on his roller coaster ride through the chocolate factory!  He greatly appreciates your support!

Part 3 of Franks Adventures

(If you are looking for the Skull Appreciation Day hop please scroll down to the next post)

Hello Lovelies, last time we left Frank, he was headed to a private meeting with the head candy man himself…(add creepy dun, dun, dun, music here).

As you may remember everything was going great for Frank, his company was number one, he was meeting his hero, every things was sunshine and rainbows!!!  Well  that is all changing…  You see, during this meeting Frank was told that although he was doing so well, because his factory was the farthest away from headquarters that unless he came up with something new and exciting to produce out of chocolate that his factory would be shut down!!!!  Now as you can imagine this left Frank feeling quite sad and angry.  You might even say he was feeling BLUE….
IMG_0243
You also could say that he was seeing red when he found all this information out!!!

He just couldn’t believe what he was hearing!  I mean how dare they threaten to close him down when he was the best and he had made his life long dream come true!!!!!!!!!

So Frank started thinking, and thinking, and it took a lot of concentration for him to do this, but he stuck to it.  The only thing on his mind was CHOCOLATE…
IMG_0242
so here he is thinking and suddenly, he gets the most wonderful idea!!!!!……

Tune in next time for the idea!!!

Skull appreciation day Blog Hop with Smeared Ink.

Hello lovelies! If you happened upon this post just by visiting my blog, thank you very much. If you want to participate in the Skull Appreciation Day blog hop, please start your hop here. If you are following the SAD hop, you should have come from Alison’s blog. My name is Jewel, and I am cajunstampingqueen’s daughter. A few days ago she told me about the Skull Appreciation day blog hop and I wanted to contribute my artwork into the hop as well! I started out with one painting, but in the end I wound up with two!
The first painting I did was a skull that I sketched out on a canvas. He has flowers and flower veins coming out of his eyes and head. He is silver and sparkly, plus he has an awesome smile. At first, I wasn’t too happy with this guy but with the help of my wonderful and creatively fantastic mom, she helped me find the beauty in what I tried to make in the beginning. IMG_0230
During the time that I wasn’t so confident with the first painting, however,  I started working on another one. He is a pink sugar skull, and he believes  that he is the king of everything! He wears a massive silver crown on top of his pink head! He is surrounded by  cut-out flowers in an assortment of colors, and he is very bright and festive.
 IMG_0227
My mom made a fantastic project! It’s so awesome that I would love it if she made me one as well! She used safety pins, silver wire, a few beads and skull heads and turned them all into one bracelet! It’s silver and gray, and the skull heads are little charms. They’re extremely charming if I do say so myself!

Her bracelet was also made for the Junk Funk challenge on the Smeared and Smudged forum.

Part 2 of Franks adventures in Wonka Ville!!!

Hello Lovelies, Last time we visited Frank he was super stoked, bubbly, and starry eyed about opening his very own chocolate factory!  As we join him now, everything is still going great. You might even say everything is Sunshine and Rainbows!!!

IMG_0221
He’s popping out candy and goodies like there is no tomorrow!  As a matter of fact, he is number 1 on the new Chocolate factory lists!!!  That’s a huge honor!

IMG_0220
I mean just look at him, you can almost see this old monster smile!!!

He is even so happy that he has joined in on the fun over at the Haunted Design House  where they have a challenge going on…It’s all about EMO and he decided to do it big… E=edges(punched) M=Monster of course, O=Orange.  Now Frank could have just made a card with orange in it but he loves all his friends over at HDH so much that he went out and painted himself orange!!! That’s love!!!

Anyway, everything is going great at the factory and Frank here's the news that the head candy man himself is coming for a visit!!!  When he get’s there Frank is giving a tour when the head candy man says they need to have a talk…..

Tune in Sunday for part 3!!!
