Bombshell Hump Day Hop

Hello Lovelies, today is the day... The one we wait all month for! The Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop!!! Here is what our lovely Ms. Alison had to say about this months hop:

Greetings, Bombshell Fans! It's time to announce the November Hump Day Hop! Since many of us are getting ready to think about cooking for Thanksgiving, I thought it would be fun to have a recipe challenge! Ingredients: 3 Patterned Papers 2 Bombshell Stamps images 1 Piece of Ribbon

I used 3 Pattern papers from the Holly Jolly Christmas collection from Echo Park Paper Co. Love that set! My 2 stamps were from the bombshell stamp sets A Pirates Life and from the Gingerbread Pin-Up digi set.  My ribbon is some I found in my stash while I was in that portion of my month long purge and says Happy Holidays on it...I really don't know where I got it from sorry!

Now having missed the sketch challenge on it's scheduled date for personal reasons I have done my card following the sketch Kathi made this month!

Remember that if you started here to head over to the Bombshell blog to start at the beginning and to leave love for everyone for your chance to win some awesome prizes!!!

Ink Stains Altered Altoid Tin Blog Hop/Art Festival

Hello Lovelies, today I am super excited to show you this Altered Altoid Tin I have been working on for a while.  A few months ago my friend Roni Johnson sent out an email asking for people who would like to participate in her Blog-a-versary/Birthday!  She love to alter things so she asked that we alter an Altoid tin and link it up to her blog for this Wonderful 5 year celebration she has going on!!!  So I love to alter things as well and of course I wanted to participate as I think Roni is a wonderful artist!

Now I do know that Roni is going to have a little something to give away and although I don't know exactly what it is I know that it is going to be wonderful!!!!  This hop is going to be amazing just to see the diversity in the things people can do with Altoid tins!!

Now you all know me and my love for Halloween but coming in a very close almost tied 2nd is Christmas and on top of that is SNOWMEN!!!!  I love me some cute little snowmen!!!  So I wanted to make a winter scene with my altoid tin not to mention I received this wonderful little picket fence from AlteredPages.com that I had to use!!!!  So quite honestly this whole little altered tin came about because of a blog birthday and some tiny littly picket fence emphemera!!!  Who knew!  I hope you enjoy my little tin and leave me some love because you never know where the winner will come from and head over to InkStainswithRoni to see the rest and see what awesome prizes are available!!!

Bombshell Confessions!!!

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you my card I made for this month's Pin Up challenge.

TRUE Confessions!  That's what our challenge is!  It could be anything, serious, funny, whatever we wanted it to be.  I actually confessed to 4 things on my card....

Ok first things first.. I am addicted to coffee.. by addicted I mean I drink it all day I  prefer it to any other drink. When we lived in the city I spent $75 a week on coffee at starbucks, addicted. My order at starbucks is a Quad Venti 2 pump white chocolate mocha nonfat no whip 170*  I like it strong and hot!!! And not very sweet!  I know my bank account and my husband are very happy that we moved to the mountains and the closest starbucks is a 20 min drive away!!!! I have 3 coffee pots addicted... a regular pot, and 2 keurigs!!  One upstairs and one in the crafting dungeon....That is addicted.

My second confession is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee cups... the more unique the better.... I have more coffee cups than any other dish in the house!!!  That might stem from my mommy who collected coffee cups as well!!!  Any coffee cup any size!!!  I love them!

My third confession is that I love Christmas... I am not really sure why maybe because I love the cold, I prefer cold over hot weather any time, maybe because I love the twinkling lights, yes I have lots of lights at my house... I don't really know why I love christmas because I can tell you that I HATE, with a passion unknown to regular folks, HATE shopping!!!

Lastly I love to dye my hair!  LOVE IT!  Honestly I never dyed my hair until my first child was born but once I started I couldn't stop!!!  Right now my hair is red on the top and black on the bottom.... it's been all black, purple, blond, lots and lots and lots of colors!!!!

So there are my confessions!  I hope that you head over to the Bombshell Blog to see what all the other DT members have confessed to!!!

DICC challenge 42

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you a card I made for the DICC challenge #42 using a steampunk image I had printed out and I am sorry I can't remember who it is from but if you know please let me know so I can credit the company!!!! I HAVE NOW FOUND OUT THE IMAGES ARE FROM SASSY STUDIO!!!      I thought it was great!

Here is the itinerary:

2. Green/Red (main colours)

3. Shaped Cards

4. Twine

5. Buttons

6. Sparkle

7. Kraft Paper

8.Stitching - real/faux

9. Pearls

10. Flowers

Now for the challenge you have to use at least 3 of the list.   I used 6...
#'s 1 ,2, 4, 5, 6, and 7.

Let me know what you think...
Isn't that a cute image??? I colored my image with my prismacolor pencils!  Where's the mistletoe you ask?  Look down...

See, there it is nestled in the background with a definition and everything! Right along with the kraft cardstock that the patterned paper and image are mounted on!!!

Every girl needs some sparkly stockings and garter belts!!! Just sayin...

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Blog Hop

Greetings fellow Twi-hards! Tonight is the night! It is the release for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2! I cannot believe that the last movie is finally being released. Will you be at a premiere? I unfortunately will not be able to make the first showing but will be going first thing friday morning!!!
My friend and fellow Twi-Hard Alison decided that since this was the last movie, we needed to do one last Twilight hop. One more hurrah before it was all over. So, she asked some of her fellow Twi-friends to hop along with her. Happily, there were 6 gals that wanted to joined. So there are 7 awesome stops in this Blog Hop. And we all made some fabulous, Twilight inspired projects! Here's what I came up with.
This is the front of my tag.  I used some digi papers from a Twilight themed digi set.  I am sorry I can't remember where it came from it was a freebie I got a long long long time ago when on a DT. The words were printed off of my computer as well as the images I found for free online.  The chess piece is popped up in a double layer.  I sprayed it with some red and black dylusions and then once everything was said and done, I thought, SPARKLE so there is some pearl glimmer mists over everything!!! Of course I had to give all the books their spotlight on this tag as it is the books that I am in love with... Ok honestly I never read one single book until I saw the first movie with my daughter... once she explained to me that the book had so much more info in it I read them... all four in one weekend... Thanksgiving weekend when Twilight first came out!  I was hooked... I can't tell you how many times I have read them.  My son will see me reading and say AGAIN mom!!!  And I just look up and say yep and keep reading!!! LOL

Close up of the top of the front.  See some of the shimmer...

Bottom close up!  more glimmer and "blood"!

The back is covered with a scanned in book page.  It's the last page of breaking dawn and I thought it fitting that I use the last page of the last book for the last movie!!!  The images are some printed off the computer then I used Tim Holtz Fragments on them and adhered them to the tag after tying them with some embroidery thread.  The tag ready Yes! I am one of those TWILIGHT  people.  The book page is also sprayed with black and red dylusions and pearl glimmer mist.

Now as I said there are 7 stops on this hop and if you are starting here I would greatly appreciate it if you would head over to the beginning and leave all the blogger some much deserved love about their projects!!!

Here is the Hop List:

A little Thanksgiving

Hello Lovelies,  Today I have to share with you some lovely little Thanksgiving ATCs I made for a 1-4-1 ATC swap.  I used images from the Happy Thanksgiving Collage sheet AP-135 from AlteredPages.com and  some microbeads from PennywiseArts.com.

New Challenge at Altered Pages

Hello Lovelies, today I have for you my DT project for the new AlteredPages.com November challenge!!!!   This months challenge is Rusted Colors!!  I know you can pull those off!!!  Be shre to head over to the challenge blog for the complete rules and to see what all the other DT members have made!!!

I have made some table decorations for my project!  Remember you can also vote on which DT members project you like the most so that that DT member can win a prize as well!!!

I made a paper rosette out of rust colored cardstock and used an image from the Happy Thanksgiving Collage sheet AP-335.  I tied the rosette on with hemp twine.  The ring is an assortment of beads attached with wire.

I took the large one out of it's ring to photograph them together because they are not going to be together on the table so the small one doesn't have a ring....

This little guy has a strip of foil embossed with my Tim Holtz embossing folder and then colored with alcohol inks.  It is attached with brads.

The rosette has gold metallic paint rubbed on with my finger to give it a gilded(kinda) look!
