On the 1st day of Christmas

Hello Lovelies, and welcome to day one of The 12 Days of Christmas Smeared and Smudged Style!!!  I don't really know if the world is ready for that but as my friend Vicki likes to say, Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!!!!  Cause quite honestly there is not stopping us now!!!!!  My first offering for you is something I made for a Kenny k challenge a couple of weeks ago, but alas missed the deadline by a few hours, so decided to save it for now!!!  Look at me thinking ahead!!   It was going to be for the anything but square challenge but I am totally going to add it to some garland, or maybe make a sexy Christmas mobile out of it....hmmmm who knows!!!

I used a chipboard shape that I had picked up from Michael's last year.  Stampin up ribbon, Picket fence stickles, and the patterned paper is from pink paisley.  The Kenny K digi is named Mrs. Claus. Isn't she a sexy bitch!!!!   Ok so now off you go to see what everyone else has made the blog roll is on my right sidebar.  Please check the post before this one for all the important information you need to know to win the awesome prizes up for grabs.

Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop

Hello my lovelies the time has come for the Smeared and Smudged Member blog hop for June!  I am so excited about this as I got to use my new set Killer Bo Peep for my project!  Unfortunatly there is only one picture as the camera died before I could get more snapped!!!! ERGG.

Anyway this months theme was open, meaning we could do whatever we wanted to do as long as there was a stamped image somewhere on the project.  I chose to make another tag using my new Killer Bo Peep set!  She is so freaking awesome it isn't even funny!  Check her out over at Smeared Ink

I used a lightweight chipboard along with decorative paper and paint to create my background.  I then used my copics to color Peep and her counterparts in some freaky cool bright colors. Stampin Up cardstock and some fuzzy ribbon round out my lists of ingredients used to make this guy!  I don't know if I love her hair the most or those little mushrooms but whatever it turns out to be I am in love with this set!  Here is my tag...

ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE

It's that time again my lovlies, Bombshell Blog Hop time, here is what our lovely Inky Button has to say about the first Bombshell Blog Hop of the Year!

"We all have our own home remedies...a pinch of this, with a dash of that and gargle. *giggle Well, it's time to put your thinkin' caps on, and ALTER an item you have laying around. That's right...don't be content with that over the counter crafting stuff...take something you have and give it a little bit of TLC; a pinch of this glitter and a splash of that alcohol ink. (Hopefully you won't have to gargle....*wink) Let your imaginations run wild as you use your Bombshells to breathe new life into an otherwise boring item.

We will be Hoppin' this challenge on January 27th. So if you're interested in joining us for this hop, leave a comment here no later than Monday January 25th. Then, come back on the 26th to pick up the HTML code for the list of hoppers to add to your post. It's as easy as that. If you participate in the hop you receive an entry into this month's prize package, and if you choose to just hop and comment you'll be entered for that too! It's a win-win for us all!

Can't wait to see what you come up with! Hop or be hopped for your chance to win the fabulous prize package shown below!"

So for my project I decided to use an old cork board I had lying around. I had picked this up from the dollar store a while ago knowing I wanted to do something with it and this blog hop was the perfect opportunity. When I pulled it out of the box of never ending things to alter! LOL It had a crappy blue band around it that was held on with hot glue that was coming off so I just helped it along and ripped it all the way off!!:) I used Butterfly Queen and Bombshell Angel stamp sets. Chipboard butterflies with perfect pearls(thanks to my son who said it needed a little more sumtin!!!) and flowers that I have had forever! The ribbon is from SU. I colored my Angel and the butterflies with Copic markers!

Now that you have checked out my project for the hop head on over to these other lovely blogs and keep on hoppin!!!!!!

Ace in the Hole Idea Book

Here is an altered notebook I did for the Design Team on Smeared and Smudged!  This book has two totally different covers.  The "front cover" is light and airy with sass and the "back" is dark and gothic!  I made this book to write down my crreating ideas and wanted the two sides to match whatever catagory I thought the ideas belonged in at the time!  Going from the front would be normal ideas and going from the back would be my not so normal ideas....although I am not sure if I have normal ideas!!!  My daughter seems to think I will always write from the back of the book!  The images on the front are from a ACE energy drink can that I found at Biglots...I am not an energy drink drinker so I made my hubby drink them.  He loved it..I just bought it for the images! LOL  The stamped image on the back is from Third Coast  Rubber Stamps and her wings are made from the same energy drink can!

Come on over to Smeared and Smudged and check us out!  If you enjoy Alternative, Vintage, and Gothic Art Rubber Stamping, then this is the place for you!

Chipboard Fat Book Pages!!!!!

Hello my lovlies, I hope everyone is having a lovely day! I am sure you are all getting ready for Thanksgiving and then Christmas...Can you believe it is so close!!! I am by no means prepared at all! I haven't even started making my Christmas cards yet and I am usually done with them by now! There is just so much going on...

Today I am showing 2 Holiday shaped chipboard pieces that I made for a fatbook swap on Pennywisearts yahoo group! I love that place! If you like using microbeads that is the place for you!

For the ornament I used grout, acrylic paint, microbeads, soft holly wheel and Holiday Tag team from SU, my bottle cap is filled with 2 part acrylic.
The Santa Hat has grout, gesso, acrylic paint, holly, and microbeads! I love that it has a shaker hat band!

Chipboard Mini Book

This is a project I made with two purposes in mind. The first being a mini project issued for DT Members over at Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends ning group. We received a lovely Digi Stamp set from MyGrafico. Such a lovely set too. The second being a challenge issued by Terra over on Smeared and Smudged. Her Tuesday challenge was to use safety pins on your project. I have these "light bulb" shaped pins and thought they were a great way to Jewel up a crown. I made the crown with layers for a 3D effect on the front of my mini book. I'm not sure the pictures so that very well. I also used Metallic effect perfect pearls from Ranger products to give it that little something extra it needed.

Pocket Planner ReMix!

I found these pocket planner calendars at Michael's the other day and thought I would pick some up and remix them a little. Here is one I made for my friend Terra using the Retro Cowgirl stamp set from Bombshell stamps. Hope you enjoy! The first pic is the front, look she has a barb wire tattoo!!! LOL, and the second pic is the back. The flower and star are chipboard covered in ribbon!!!
